A short film that follows a multi-generational household of Afro, Afro-Indo, and South Asian women gathered for a family dinner. When a mother asks her daughter Hana to share a poem she's been writing, Hana's recitation becomes the film's emotional spine , carrying the audience through a series of intimate portraits, archival images, intergenerational embraces, prayer, and quiet domestic rituals. Written as a prayer to the diaspora, the poem reclaims features and traditions once made to feel like "too much," and builds toward a final image of the whole family together; a meditation on identity, belonging, and the tenderness of home as something held in the body and passed between generations.
